Olympic Games Londen 2012

The Olympic Games in London will start on July 27^th, 2012. In this blog we will talk about the discipline horseriding.

During the games there will be three disciplines; jumping, eventing and dressage.

In total two hundred riders will be competing for the gold medal.

We see several trends in this sport. Horses have become very important. Investors pay a lot of money for good horses. For example, a Dutch horse Totilas was sold for fifteen million euros.

It seems that over the years horses are more important than the riders themselves.
